Call for Presentations​

AsiaTEFL - TEFLIN - iNELTAL Conference 2022 invites presentations of research and classroom-based articles, symposia and posters as well as conceptual ideas and best practices relevant to the topics of English language and its variety of aspects. Proposal submissions should be no longer than 250-word abstract and 60-word biodata, sent via our abstract proposal submission platform at the conference management system. The platform will require information of: first/given name, last/sur/family name, nationality, affiliation, title, and status of presenter (first, co-presenter, etc.). Notification of acceptance will be emailed on April 8th, 2022.


You have the opportunities for a quick preliminary review for publication in our partner journals, namely, The AsiaTEFL Journal, TEFLIN Journal, Jurnal Bahasa dan Seni, Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan, and Jurnal Pendidikan: Teori Penelitian, dan Pengembangan (JPTPP). Do not miss the full paper submission deadline, May 8th, 2022. You also have the choice for publishing in ISSN proceedings (free) or indexed proceedings (incurred fee, TBA).

Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) is a public university which was formerly a Teacher Training and Education Institute (IKIP) located in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Its new spirit of “Excellence in Learning Innovation” is aimed at presenting UM as a learning resource and learning site, with learning media and learning inspiration for students, lecturers, staff, personnel, and the society. UM houses 8 faculties with 13 three-year programs, 59 undergraduate, 33 masters, and 16 doctoral study programs.

Graha Cakrawala is located on Jalan Cakrawala, and is surrounded by business districts and universities. It is around 4,500 m2, and offers 5000 seats. Graha Cakrawala is equipped with a stage and grandstand, spacious parking, a prayer room, video wall, LCD panels, centralized AC, etc.

The Joint Organizers

AsiaTEFL is an international organization for the Asian region that covers the field of English education in the whole of Asia and reach beyond national boundaries for individuals and groups to work together toward commonly held goals of developing TEFL in Asia. The organization holds an annual conference in different countries and regions in Asia. This 20th AsiaTEFL international  conference aims at promoting scholarship, disseminating information, and facilitating cross-cultural understanding among persons concerned with the teaching and learning of English in Asia.

 

TEFLIN is the Association of Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia. It is a professional organization run primarily by volunteer members of the organization. Its members are institutions and individuals focusing on Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia. The association holds an annual international conference and several national conferences held by its chapters. This 68th TEFLIN International conference is an academic event to connect professionals and stakeholders in the field of teaching English as a Foreign Language. 

iNELTAL is an annual international conference hosted by the Department of English, Faculty of Letters, Universitas Negeri Malang. It stands for The International English Language Teachers and Lecturers (iNELTAL) conference. The 5th iNELTAL conference aims to gather English language researchers, lecturers, teachers, and students to share the insights of their research and practices in the field of English language and English Language Teaching (ELT).
